Disappointing Service and Lame Coffee – Skip It! We visited this plaza on Sunday for brunch at Camellias Cocina (which is amazing and highly recommended!). Because the wait for brunch was over 30 minutes, our group of seven walked over to this spot to grab some coffee. Everyone in our group ordered a drink. My husband and I joined them a few minutes later, but we decided not to order anything since we were about to have a full meal and mimosas. We sat together for less than five minutes while waiting for the final drinks to be made. When the owner brought out the last two drinks, she looked at us and asked if we were going to order. I politely explained that we were part of the group and were just waiting with them before our brunch table was ready. With a highly passive-aggressive tone, she replied, "Oh well, this is a business, and if you’re here, you need to consume." She tried to laugh it off like a joke, but it was incredibly clear she meant it. I was shocked and confused, especially since the cafe was completely empty besides our group. I would really like to know why the lady who always works there always seems agitated and acts as though she rather not help. She’s extremely rude and acts annoyed when you ask a question. It’s very confusing. I’ve given her the benefit of the doubt one too many times but today I am happy to say I will NOT be going back. Work on your customer service.

I used to love this place back when I lived in Chula Vista, ten years ago. Went on a Sunday with my daughter, it was 2:03 pm, asked for two coffees and the owner responded that she was closed (I guess she closes earlier on Sundays) but she was going to make them anyway with an attitude. I asked no whipped cream and she made both while chatting with another customer. Got the two coffees with extra whipped cream like she gave them to me free. Not going back

After driving by here multiple times and thinking it was cute because it’s so small, often thinking “ we should try it “ I finally did. My daughter in law bought me a chai.. OMG!!! IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!!! I went back the next day to get another and met Mary, the owner with the best outgoing attitude. All I gotta say is don’t sleep on the small coffee shops! Starbucks is expensive and overrated I’m done…. Better Buzz is good… But Jets is my new go to, mmmm delicious! 😋 🤤 Matter of fact I’m on my way now 🤗

I have found an amazing little spot that has the most awesome coffee around. No need for Starbucks to remember your order, make yourself a regular and your order is on file with Mari and she gets it right every time. If you don’t believe me, just stop by. Coffee regular
